A remodeler’s marketing asset is the last job. Photographed properly — after the cleaners, in daylight, from the doorway a homeowner would stand in — a finished kitchen sells the next one better than any sentence we could write. Photographed on a phone with the tarps still down, it does the opposite.
The portfolio needs to be organised the way homeowners think: by room, then by style, with a line on each project saying what the brief was and what changed. Before-and-after pairs do more than either photo alone. Where the homeowner agrees, the review from that job sits beside the photos of it.
We arrange the photography where you do not have it — that is what our business photography is for — and the same set feeds the website, the Google profile, Houzz and the social accounts, so one afternoon of photographs works in four places.
